I am a Senior Lecturer within the Education, Culture and Society Division at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. I am also the Associate Director of the International Educational Development program at Penn GSE. My university webpage can be found here.
A graduate of Teachers College, Columbia University, I earned my doctorate in International Educational Development (with a specialization in Curriculum and Teaching). My research interests include immigrants and education, trans/nationalism and citizenship, education policy, curricular discourse, ethnography, and religion in education. My practitioner work has focused on teacher education, curriculum development and pedagogy, and issues pertaining to school climate.
